Currently in Development

Outside the Box Materials is spearheading innovation in carbon sequestration by integrating CO2 capture into our materials. Our non-portland based cements and aggregates used in concrete production are designed to sequester high levels of CO2 , providing an eco-friendly alternative to traditional concrete materials. By reducing energy consumption, transport needs, and overall carbon footprint, OTB is setting new standards in sustainable construction and leading the way towards a greener future.

OTB's ground-breaking methods of storing greenhouse gas involve the incorporation of CO2 captured in industrial processes into their unique non-portland based cements and aggregates used for concrete production. These materials are engineered to sequester high levels of CO2, thereby actively reducing the amount of carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere. This is a significant step forward in combatting the high carbon footprint associated with conventional concrete production.  Furthermore, OTB's approach is designed to be highly efficient, minimizing the energy consumption and transportation needs associated with their process. OTB is reshaping the landscape of the construction industry by merging sustainability with practicality. Our pioneering work in carbon sequestration sets a new benchmark for sustainable construction materials by providing methods of permanently storing CO2 near the source of collection, without the need for expansive pipelines and deep well injections.

Sequestering Carbon Dioxide
is Essential for the Future

CO2 is a major contributor to gree1nhouse gas emissions, which trap heat in the atmosphere and lead to rising temperatures, sea level rise, and more frequent extreme weather events. Sequestering CO2 can help reduce the amount of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, slowing the pace of global warming and mitigating the impacts of climate change.
